Brac and Hvar (Croatia)

Brac and Hvar are the central Dalmatian islands.
Brac is the biggest island, has an area of about 395 km2, with a population of 13.000 inhabitants, while Hvar covers just about 300 km2, with about 12.000 inhabitants.
Thanks to their healthy lifestyle and a balanced diet, the islands of Brac and Hvar have become part of the UNESCO list of communities emblematic of the Mediterranean diet in 2013. Not surprisingly, fresh fish, seafood, vegetables, wine and fruit are in the diet of Dalmatia.
